Job summary

Hebrew Public Charter Schools is seeking an MLL/Intervention Teacher for HLA2 in New York. The role focuses on delivering standards-based instruction, using Responsive Classroom, and monitoring student progress for multilingual learners.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's (Masters preferred) and NY teaching certification or is pursuing it; prior lead teaching in urban/public charter settings is a plus. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• K-12 lead teaching experience is a plus.
• Urban/public charter/Title I experience is a plus.
• Hold NY teacher certification or working towards certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver standards-based instruction for multilingual learners and intervene as needed.
• Utilize Responsive Classroom techniques and monitor student progress.
• Administer NYSITEL to all new entrants within 10 days and NYSESLAT annually.
• Provide small group pull-out services to tier 3 students and implement LLI.
