Job summary

Integration Charter Schools is seeking an English Language Learner (ELL)/Multilingual Language Learner (MLL) Teacher to empower Staten Island students with diverse needs. You will lead inclusive instruction and collaborate with families and colleagues to support language development and academic achievement.

The role requires NYS ESOL certification, a commitment to social-emotional learning, and data-informed instruction within a vibrant school community.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of instructional best practices.
• Understanding of New York State Graduation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver instruction aligned to NYS standards, integrating all language domains.
• Provide small group differentiated instruction to ELL students.
• Collaborate with content teachers to support ELL students at all proficiency levels.
• Coordinate NYSITELL and NYSESLAT assessments according to state guidelines.
