Job summary

SRC, Inc. is seeking Summer 2027 Machine Learning Engineering interns for our Syracuse, NY or Dayton, OH locations who enjoy solving interesting problems using ML.

You will develop and apply ML models for cloud and edge platforms to help protect lives and support national security. Ideal candidates have at least one year of college with familiarity in ML, DRL, or LLMs, with a 3.3 GPA and the ability to work up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of college with familiarity in ML/DRL/LLMs.
• GPA 3.3 minimum; unofficial transcripts acceptable.
• Must be able to work up to 40 hours/week.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply ML models for cloud and edge platforms.
• Assist with algorithm/model development and integration into hardware/software.
• Assist with data collection, generation and augmentation of datasets.
• Collaborate with domain experts to identify model requirements.
