Job summary

SRC, Inc. invites summer 2027 ML Engineering interns for Dayton, OH or Syracuse, NY locations. You’ll work on ML model development, data handling, and integration with hardware/software in small teams.

Ideal candidates are pursuing college studies with ML familiarity and a GPA of 3.3+. Remote work not mentioned; on-site opportunities in Syracuse or Dayton. We encourage experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch, Python or MATLAB, and prompt engineering or RAG techniques to optimize LLMs.

Qualifications

• One or more years of college with some familiarity with ML, DRL, or LLMs.
• GPA minimum 3.3; unofficial transcripts acceptable with application.
• Must be able to work up to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply ML models for cloud and edge platforms.
• Assist with algorithm and model development and integration into hardware/software components.
• Collect, generate, and augment data sets; work with domain experts to define requirements.
