Job summary

SRC, Inc. is seeking summer 2027 Machine Learning Engineering interns for our Syracuse, NY or Dayton, OH locations. The role involves solving meaningful ML problems, designing and developing deep learning models, and working in small teams to create solutions that could impact defense, environment, and intelligence domains. You will collaborate with engineers and scientists on real-world datasets and receive mentorship and hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• One or more years of college with familiarity in ML, DRL, or LLMs.
• Minimum GPA of 3.3; unofficial transcripts acceptable with application.
• Must be able to work up to 40 hours per week.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply ML models for cloud and edge platforms.
• Assist with algorithm and model development and integration.
• Assist with data collection, generation, and augmentation.
• Collaborate with domain experts to identify model requirements.
