Job summary

Torc Robotics is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to support the Torc Sim platform and Autonomy teams. The role focuses on end-to-end data flow, replay/recompute workflows, and visualization tooling to improve model evaluation and scalability.

You will become the domain expert on perception/behavior models, collaborating with Autonomy teams and engineering to deliver robust, scalable solutions for automated trucks in a remote-capable role across the United States and Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering or related field; 4+ years of experience or
• Master’s Degree in related field with 0-3+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as embedded point of contact between Dataloop + Simulation and Autonomy teams to drive adoption.
• Implement end-to-end data flow: data ops to simulation to storage at scale.
• Onboard Autonomy models to execute replay/recompute workflows at scale.
• Drive adoption of visualization tooling and implement UI/UX improvements for backlog.
• Become domain expert on model areas (Camera, Lidar, Vehicle Intent, Object Tracking).
• Debug issues spanning data ingestion, simulation execution, storage and metrics, driving resolution.
• Translate feedback from Autonomy engineers into product roadmap requirements.
• Document workflows and onboard new users to scale adoption.
