Torc Robotics seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the perception team, guiding data-driven development from requirements through deployment for autonomous trucks. You will shape the architecture, drive multi-task models, and ensure real-time performance on embedded compute.

The role requires a strong ML background, hands-on Python/PyTorch and C++ production experience, and the ability to collaborate across hardware, data, simulation, and safety teams.

Qualifications

• Requires strong leadership experience with 2+ years managing engineers.
• Proven track record delivering production ML systems for autonomous tech.
• Deep ML/vision knowledge including 3D geometry and perception failure modes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of ML and software engineers.
• Set technical directions and roadmap for active-sensor perception.
• Oversee end-to-end ML lifecycle: data, training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring.
