Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer II to support the ML Capacity Delivery team. You will build data foundations, reporting systems, and analytics to help leadership plan, track, and deliver ML capacity at scale.

You will work with PMs, systems engineers, and operations to transform complex data into actionable insights and insights to drive delivery velocity and efficiency. A data-driven, fast-paced environment awaits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
• 1+ years of SQL, ETL or Oracle experience
• 1+ years of processing large, multi-source datasets
• 1+ years of performing statistical analysis
• 1+ years of developing automated reporting
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in a related field
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
• Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
• Experience using SQL to pull data and Python for data processing

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scaled, automated data systems, reports, and dashboards for ML capacity delivery tracking.
• Build and optimize data pipelines for extraction, transformation, and loading from diverse sources using SQL, Python, and AWS big data tech.
• Apply analytics to extract insights on capacity delivery timelines, logistics, and infrastructure deployment.
• Collaborate with program managers, systems engineers, and operations teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Create data visualizations that tell the story of ML capacity delivery performance for stakeholders at all levels.
• Design and track key performance metrics for delivery velocity, on-time performance, and throughput.
• Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams for actionable insights and ad hoc analyses.
• Adopt best practices in reporting: data integrity, testing, validation, and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality and automate manual reporting with predictive analytics.
