Responsibilities

The Market Director is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the staff and activities for rehabilitation therapy services in the inpatient, post-acute, and outpatient settings for all market facilities. The Market Director provides leadership and management for managers, supervisors, and staff, ensuring standards of professional and ethical practice in compliance with relevant guidelines and policies.

Essential Key Job Responsibilities

• Develops and integrates therapy and related services objectives aligned with the health system’s mission and strategic goals.
• Creates and executes business plans, identifying goals and outcomes, and monitors performance.
• Focuses on growth, market development, revenue building, and strengthening referral streams.
• Assesses and improves patient care quality, implementing performance improvement activities using data-driven decisions.
• Ensures compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards, maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Develops and manages departmental budgets and resources efficiently.
• Recruits, trains, mentors, and retains staff, fostering professional growth.
• Maintains effective communication with all stakeholders, resolving issues promptly and fostering positive relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a therapeutic specialty area.
• Five to seven years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting, with three years in supervisory roles.
• Licensed therapist in the specialty area.
• BLS/CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

• Leadership in acute or post-acute rehab settings.
• Experience in Inpatient Rehab, Outpatient Therapy, Sports Medicine, Home Health, or skilled nursing centers.

Pay Range

$56.83 - $82.40 per hour
