Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Diving Technician to support DoD EOD underwater breathing apparatus programs, applying technical expertise in Mk 16 and related life-support systems. You will ensure readiness through maintenance, inspection, and training, collaborating with engineers, logisticians, and operators.

This role emphasizes fielding sustainment, troubleshooting, and compliance with manuals and QA standards.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience supporting military diving, underwater life-support systems, or high-reliability technical systems.
Experience with Mk 16 closed-circuit rebreather systems maintenance, inspection, and QA.
Experience with oxygen-cleanliness procedures and high-pressure oxygen safety requirements.
Experience applying manuals, maintenance instructions, and configuration-control procedures.
Experience developing or delivering technical instruction and operator training.

Responsibilities

Perform depot-level inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, certification, and QA actions for Mk 16 and other diving/life-support equipment.
Deliver maintainer instruction covering preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection criteria, and safety requirements.
Maintain compliance with technical manuals, maintenance requirements, configuration-control procedures, and QA standards.
Collaborate with engineers, logisticians, instructors, operators, and program stakeholders to resolve sustainment issues.
Support evaluation of post-fielding operations to identify future improvements.
