Job summary

Akima is seeking a DVO Open Circuit position at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. The role requires engineering knowledge to design, install, support, and repair tools and equipment in various locations.

Responsibilities include monitoring calibration schedules, maintaining equipment, and diving in open water for testing. Applicants must be U.S. citizens with relevant qualifications, including an Interim Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• Full knowledge of oxygen high pressure fill station.
• Skills and qualifications to maintain diver dry suits.
• Military Diver Rating is a must.
• Completion of Open Circuit course and Hydro Testing course required.
• U.S. citizenship and Interim Secret Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Complete Tanks Visual Inspection course.
• Assist with maintenance and repairs of mission equipment.
• Monitor calibration of assigned items.
• Comply with air and oxygen purity standards.
• Dive in open water to test equipment.
