Job summary

Morrison is seeking a Life-Support Technician to monitor and manage life-support systems for divers in saturation diving operations. You will ensure safe atmosphere, proper gas mixtures, and consistent logging of all events and equipment status.

The role requires ADCI life-support training, completion of the ADCI exam, and relevant safety certifications, with field experience integral to duties and continuous safety adherence.

Qualifications

• Completion of an ADCI accredited life-support technician program.
• Successful completion of the ADCI life-support technician exam.
• Required safety certifications: TWIC, SafeGulf, Rigger, Water Survival, First Aid & CPR, Life Support Technician Certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control the hyperbaric environment in saturation diving.
• Maintain atmosphere and pressure according to policy and supervisor directions.
• Ensure proper temperature and humidity for divers’ comfort.
• Analyze and log gas compositions and scrubber changes.
• Decompress divers as scheduled and maintain communication with divers.
• Keep a saturation log with detailed readings and events.
• Maintain diving equipment and assist in training Diver Tenders.
