GSM Outdoors is seeking a motivated Mixing Lead to oversee daily mixing operations, coordinate production activities, and support leadership in guiding the team. This hands-on role ensures equipment runs efficiently, documentation is accurate, materials are well-managed, and safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3+ years of manufacturing or production experience.
• Experience operating mixing equipment or manufacturing machinery preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift or willingness to become forklift certified.
• Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to use common hand tools.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively work with individuals and cross-functional teams.
• Basic computer proficiency and math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Demonstrated leadership potential with the ability to train and support team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily mixing operations to ensure production schedules and quality standards are achieved.
• Coordinate equipment setup, startup, operation, changeovers, shutdown, and cleanup.
• Monitor mixing equipment and machinery to ensure proper operation and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and elevate concerns when necessary.
• Ensure production processes are followed consistently and efficiently.
• Assist the Production Supervisor with training, coaching, evaluating, and developing production employees.
• Reinforce company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
