Job summary

Mativ is seeking a Mixer 2 to lead the mixing room in the Lead's absence and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and SOPs. The role involves training, operating and cleaning mixing equipment, and handling production paperwork.

Responsibilities include daily production communication, material handling, and collaboration with Cleanroom and Warehouse teams, with use of Epicor and IQS systems to manage documentation and production data.

Responsibilities

• Support as leader in the absence of the Lead.
• Ensure mixer 1 is properly trained to function with minimal supervision.
• Participate in daily production call-meetings.
• Complete all logs and mixing paperwork (Cleaning log, safety checks, weight verification, formulations).
• Clean airlocks, floors, and areas around machines as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Respond to mix requirements to support cleanroom operations and schedule.
• Ensure Mixing Room areas remain clean per specs.
• Notify Supervisor if deviations from specifications occur.
• Interface with Cleanroom and Warehouse to transfer pertinent information.
• Utilize Epicor system for material issue/return, stock, pick lists, labor logs, and production quantities.
• Use IQS to confirm documentation and initiate document changes.
• Receive and return material from warehouse.
• Conform to Safety, Quality, SOPs.
• Move and handle raw materials and equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance requests with Technical Department.
• Work with cross-functional teams on SOPs and tests.
• Verify raw materials against expiration dates on job and labels.
