Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking Mixer Operators with Class A or B CDL to deliver ready mix to commercial and residential sites. You will be the face of SRM at jobsites, ensuring on-time deliveries with safety and professionalism, and you’ll be home daily.

You will load, mix, and inspect concrete to exact specifications, maintain accurate records, and follow DOT and company safety protocols while delivering exceptional customer service to customers and dispatch teams.

Qualifications

• Active Class A or B CDL with DOT Medical Card.
• Safe driving record and reliability.
• Willing to perform pre-/post-trip inspections.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate concrete mixer truck (Class A/B) to deliver ready mix to sites.
• Load, mix, and inspect concrete to specs.
• Provide exceptional customer service on site.
• Perform pre-/post-trip vehicle inspections and safety checks.
• Maintain delivery and vehicle records in company systems.
• Coordinate with dispatch for routing and scheduling.
• Assist with plant/yard duties as needed.

Your Mission & Key Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck (Class A or B CDL) to safely transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential job sites.
• Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet precise specifications and quality standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service at every job site, representing SRM Concrete with professionalism and a service-first attitude.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols to protect yourself, your team, and the public.
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records using company systems.
• Coordinate with dispatch and plant teams for efficient scheduling and routing.
• Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.

• Previous experience as a Mixer Operator, Ready Mix Driver, or in construction delivery is a plus—but we welcome motivated newcomers ready to learn!
• Willingness to complete SRM's pre-employment screenings.
