Job summary

Smyrna Ready Mix, LLC is hiring Mixer Operators to deliver ready mix with Class A or B CDL and a safety-first mindset. You’ll be the face of SRM at job sites, providing reliable service, accurate deliveries, and professional interactions.

Qualifications

• Active Class A or B CDL and current DOT Medical Card.
• Proven safe driving record.
• Customer service oriented and team player.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in all weather.
• Strong work ethic and reliable, with good communication.
• Experience as Mixer Operator or Ready Mix delivery is a plus.
• Willing to complete pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck to safely transport and deliver ready mix.
• Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet specs and quality standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service at each job site.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Follow DOT, OSHA and company safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records.
• Coordinate with dispatch and plant teams for routing.
• Assist with plant or yard duties as needed.

Your Mission & Key Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck (Class A or B CDL) to safely transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential job sites.
• Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet precise specifications and quality standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service at every job site, representing SRM Concrete with professionalism and a service-first attitude.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols to protect yourself, your team, and the public.
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records using company systems.
• Coordinate with dispatch and plant teams for efficient scheduling and routing.
• Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.

• Previous experience as a Mixer Operator, Ready Mix Driver, or in construction delivery is a plus—but we welcome motivated newcomers ready to learn!
• Willingness to complete SRM's pre-employment screenings.
