Job summary

J&J Snack Foods Corp. is seeking a Mixer Operator to manage proper ingredient setup and mixing for production on the shift. You will operate mixing machines, read batch sheets, and ensure safe, clean, and efficient line operation while supporting the team.

The role requires lifting, standing for long periods, teamwork, and strong eye-hand coordination. Training in GMP, OSHA programs, and SQF is provided as part of onboarding.

Qualifications

• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Mixer Operators must be trained in Good Manufacturing Practices, OSHA programs, Food Defense, Allergens, and SQF.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures in specification sheets to ensure correct ingredients per product and line.
• Read and document batch sheets and report usage for production reporting.
• Weigh and document all specified ingredients for product run.
• Operate control panels, timers, and meters for mixers.
• Identify each stage of the mixing process and maintain quality.
• Assist coworkers in line setup and move heavy operating equipment.
• Adhere to environmental, health and safety requirements and procedures.
• Responsible for food safety and quality.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment during shift hours.
