Job summary

J&J Snack Foods in Paducah, KY is seeking a Production Lead to oversee the assigned area and ensure production runs on schedule in a safe, timely manner.

You will train new staff, schedule breaks, rotate personnel, verify documents, and lead the team to maintain daily operations while upholding safety, quality, and food safety programs.

This role requires hands-on leadership and a willingness to learn all aspects of production, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Job description

Production Lead will oversee the assigned area to ensure production runs according to schedule in a safe and timely manner. Schedule daily breaks and lead team. Ensure all employees are rotating at appropriate times. Verify that documents have been completed correct and accurate. Able to perform all tasks for the assigned area and responsible for training all new staff. Support and enforce employee safety, food safety, and quality programs. Keep assigned area clean and safe for all employees. Responsible for end of day clean up. Reports on all issues as they happen to Production Supervisor. Production lead must learn all aspects of production and be able to lead any area effectively and efficiently.
