Job summary

J&J Snack Foods Corp in the United States is seeking a Mixer Operator to set up and run mixing lines, following batch sheets and specification sheets to ensure correct ingredients are used for each product.

You will operate control panels, document weights, and assist in line setup, while maintaining safety and cleanliness and supporting teammates in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and document batch sheets.
• Report usage of jams and dough for production reporting.
• Weigh and document all specified ingredients for product runs.
• Operate control panels, timers, and meters for mixers.
• Identify each stage of the mixing process.
• Assist coworkers in set up of lines and moving heavy equipment.
• Adhere to environmental, health and safety requirements and procedures.
• Responsible for food safety and quality.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Scope

• This position is responsible for the proper ingredient set up and mixing of all products for production and requires the operation of the mixing machines.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment during shift hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow procedures in specification sheets to ensure the correct ingredients are utilized per product and product line in a consistent and timely manner
• Read and document batch sheets.
• Report usage of jams and dough for production reporting
• Weigh and properly document all specified ingredients for product run
• Operate control panels, timers, and meters for mixers
• Identify each stage of the mixing process
• Assist coworkers in set up of lines, moving and lifting heavy operating equipment
• Adhere to all environmental, health and safety requirements and procedures
• Responsible for food safety and quality
• Other tasks as assigned
