Job summary

Intel Corporation in Hillsboro, Oregon, seeks a Mixed Signal Logic Design Engineer to develop RTL for mixed-signal IPs and help integrate IP blocks in SoCs.

You will collaborate with analog and digital teams to optimize timing, power, and area while validating RTL tests and addressing issues; requires Verilog/SystemVerilog expertise and strong debugging across analog/digital domains.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree + 7+ years or Master's + 4+ years in relevant field.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Verilog / SystemVerilog (RTL design).
  • Strong digital logic fundamentals and experience integrating analog IP with digital logic.
  • Deep knowledge of RTL-to-GDSII flow, STA, and CDC.
  • Familiarity with EDA tools; understanding timing, power, and performance trade-offs.
  • Knowledge of Power Delivery and Power Management systems (preferred).
  • Understanding analog/mixed-signal blocks (ADCs, DACs, PLLs, regulators).
  • DFT as it relates to mixed-signal HIP.
  • Scripting experience (Perl/TCL/Python).
  • Experience with mixed-signal simulation and debugging across analog/digital domains.

Responsibilities

  • Develop logic design, RTL coding, and simulation for mixed-signal IPs including cell libraries, functional units, IP blocks, and subsystems.
  • Participate in definition of architecture and microarchitecture features of the block.
  • Apply strategies, tools, and methods for mixed-signal designs including analog behavior modeling and circuit simulation.
  • Write and optimize mixed-signal logic to meet power, performance, and timing goals.
  • Ensure design integrity for physical implementation.
  • Review verification plans and implementations to verify design features.
  • Resolve and implement corrective measures for failing RTL tests.
  • Support SoC customers to ensure high-quality IP block integration.
