Wilkes County Veterinary Services is seeking a Veterinarian (DVM) – Mixed Animal Associate to join our growing team in Washington, Georgia. You will provide medical, surgical, and emergency care for multiple species while building trusted relationships with local families and farms.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent with Georgia license.
• Experience in mixed-animal work or strong large-animal interest.
• Effective communicator, compassionate, confident with varied species.
• Team player in a collaborative clinic.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical, surgical, and emergency care for multiple species.
• Perform surgeries, including farm and field surgeries.
• Deliver preventive care and herd health management.
• Complete farm calls and shared on-call duties.
• Maintain medical records in the practice management system.
• Build strong client relationships and trust with owners.
