Job summary

SERVPRO of Vacaville / Dixon is hiring entry-level Mitigation Technicians with no experience or degree required. You will receive full training, including IICRC certification, and work with real equipment to respond to water, fire, and storm damage.

Starting pay is $21.00–$23.00 per hour, with a $500 signing bonus after training and 90 days, plus overtime and internal promotion opportunities across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Willing to be on-call rotation; emergency work requires flexibility.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, not required.
• No experience or degree required; full training and IICRC certification provided.

Responsibilities

• Respond to property damage calls and assess the situation.
• Extract water, set up drying equipment, demo damaged materials, and restore contents.
• Work with a crew and communicate with customers on the worst day of their year.
• Learn the science of restoration and pursue advancement within the company.

We're hiring entry-level Mitigation Technicians, no experience needed, no degree required, full training paid. You'll learn a licensed trade (IICRC certification, on us), work with real equipment, and respond to real emergencies helping homeowners recover from water, fire, and storm damage.

What you'll do: Respond to property damage calls. Extract water, set up drying equipment, demo damaged materials, clean and restore contents. Work with a crew. Learn the science of restoration (psychrometrics, structural drying, microbial remediation). Talk to customers on the worst day of their year and help fix it.

What We're Looking For

• 18+, valid driver's license, able to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet
• Show up on time, ready to work
• Willing to be on-call rotation (water damage doesn't keep bank'er hours)
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, not required
