Job description

Entry-Level Management | Base Salary + Commission

Barex of Atlanta - Sandy Springs, GA Full-Time | In Person

Build Your Career in Restoration Sales and Management

Barex of Atlanta is looking for a motivated restoration professional ready to take the next step into project management and sales.

This is a hybrid position combining mitigation production, project management, customer sales, and crew leadership. You will help inspect and sell restoration projects, oversee the work being performed, communicate with customers, and ensure each job is properly completed and documented.

You do not need to be equally experienced in every part of the position. If you have strong mitigation knowledge but need sales training—or you're a strong salesperson who needs more production experience, we're willing to develop the right person.

This is an entry-level management opportunity, but it is not an entry-level restoration position. We're looking for someone with industry experience, natural leadership ability, and the drive to build a high-earning career.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive base salary based on experience and ability
  • Strong commission and performance-bonus opportunities
  • Willingness to pay more for proven talent
  • 401(k) with company matching
  • Paid time off and company holidays
  • Professional training and certification opportunities
  • Clear path into senior sales and operations management
  • Company-supported tools and resources
What You’ll Do
  • Respond to and inspect water, mold, and other property-damage projects
  • Meet with property owners and explain the recommended scope of work
  • Sell mitigation, remediation, and reconstruction services
  • Prepare or assist with estimates, work authorizations, and project scopes
  • Oversee mitigation projects from initial inspection through completion
  • Work from the truck and participate in field production when necessary
  • Direct technicians and subcontractors in the field
  • Monitor project timelines, labor hours, equipment, materials, and job costs
  • Maintain job quality, safety, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction
  • Document projects with photos, moisture readings, equipment logs, and daily notes
  • Communicate with customers, adjusters, property managers, and internal teams
  • Identify additional restoration and reconstruction opportunities
  • Help ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and at the expected margin
  • Follow up with customers and help move opportunities toward signed work
What Success Looks Like
  • You can confidently communicate with customers and close qualified projects
  • Your crews understand the scope and complete work according to company standards
  • Jobs are properly documented, organized, and ready for billing
  • Customers receive consistent updates and know what to expect
  • You protect project quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction
  • You continue developing into a stronger salesperson and restoration manager
What We’re Looking For
  • Approximately two to three years of restoration, mitigation, construction, or related experience
  • Experience as a Crew Chief, Lead Technician, Estimator, Sales Representative, or Assistant Project Manager is preferred
  • A basic understanding of water mitigation, mold remediation, demolition, drying equipment, and jobsite safety
  • Interest in learning restoration and reconstruction sales
  • Ability to build trust with customers and ask for the job
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through
  • Confidence leading technicians and coordinating fieldwork
  • A competitive, growth-oriented mentality
  • Ability to balance customer service, production quality, and profitability
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • IICRC certification preferred but not required
  • Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and other restoration environments
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and heavier items with team assistance
You Can Be Stronger in Sales or Production

We understand that the best candidates may not have mastered both sides of this position yet.

You may be an experienced mitigation professional who wants to learn how to inspect, estimate, and sell projects. You may also be a talented salesperson or construction professional who needs more training in restoration production.

Either background can work. What matters most is that you can communicate, take ownership, learn quickly, and develop into someone who can both close the job and make sure it gets produced correctly.

A High-Earning Path for the Right Person

Barex of Atlanta is growing, and we want people who want to grow with us. This position is designed for someone who wants more responsibility and earning potential—not someone looking to remain in the same hourly role indefinitely.

You’ll begin by learning our field operations and project standards. As you demonstrate your ability to manage projects and close sales, you’ll have the opportunity to earn additional commission and advance into a larger sales or management position.

If you're hungry, competitive, good with people, and ready to build a career in restoration leadership, we'd like to meet you.
