Job summary

TRUSTMARK RESTORATION LLC in Matthews, NC is seeking a hands-on Repair Technician to support mitigation and repair work, including light demolition and finish carpentry. You’ll assist with drying equipment, respond to emergencies after hours, and ensure high-quality workmanship across water, fire, and mold projects.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, customer service, basic construction skills, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand work orders and basic project docs.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 60 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and driving record meet requirements.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform light demolition and debris removal per project scope and safety.
• Set up, monitor, and remove drying and mitigation equipment.
• Carry out small carpentry, drywall, painting, trim and finish work.
• Assist with mitigation for water, fire, mold, and other property damage.
• Document work performed, equipment placement, moisture readings, and progress.
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and work areas in clean, safe condition.
• Provide courteous customer service to homeowners and managers.
• Communicate progress and changes to team and customers.
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours responses.
• Adhere to safety policies and PPE requirements.
