Job summary

Seco Restore is seeking a General Technician to assist with mitigation, restoration, and reconstruction projects from initial response through completion. This role performs hands-on work at residential properties, including water damage mitigation, demolition, cleaning, drying, debris removal, repairs, reconstruction, and jobsite cleanup.

You will assist with moisture readings, monitor drying equipment, and help with contents handling while maintaining safe, organized work areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration, mitigation, construction, remodeling, demolition, or general labor is a plus.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and company procedures.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass background and screening requirements, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mitigation, restoration, and reconstruction projects from initial response through project completion.
• Perform hands-on work at residential properties including water damage mitigation, demolition, cleaning, drying, debris removal, repairs, reconstruction, and jobsite cleanup.
• Assist with water extraction, structural drying, moisture readings, and documenting drying conditions.
• Remove damaged materials such as flooring, drywall, insulation, and cabinets as needed.
• Assist with contents handling, packing, moving, cleaning, and storage.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas; follow safety protocols.
• Assist with basic demolition and preparation of reconstruction; load/unload materials and equipment.
