Bright Horizon Care LLC is seeking an experienced Mitigation Lead Technician to guide crews through water, fire, and mold restoration projects in Huntington Beach, CA. This role focuses on leading on-site operations and delivering high-quality workmanship for our clients.

You will train junior technicians, coordinate with project managers, and uphold IICRC standards and safety protocols in a fast-paced environment with a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in water, fire, or mold mitigation/restoration.
• IICRC WRT certification preferred.
• Proven ability to lead a crew and manage job site operations independently.
• Proficiency with drying equipment, dehumidifiers, air movers, and moisture detection tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise mitigation crews on water, fire, smoke, and mold remediation job sites.
• Perform water extraction, structural drying, demolition, and containment setup.
• Monitor and document drying progress using moisture meters, thermal imaging, and drying equipment.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with IICRC standards and safety protocols.
• Communicate job status updates to project managers and clients professionally.
• Train and mentor junior technicians on mitigation best practices and equipment use.
• Maintain, inspect, and transport mitigation equipment and company vehicles.

• Availability for on-call and emergency response shifts as needed
