Job summary

Bright Horizon Care LLC is seeking a skilled Restoration Technician in Huntington Beach, CA to help homeowners and businesses recover after water, fire, smoke, or mold damage.

You will assess damage, set up drying equipment, perform demolition, apply antimicrobial treatments, and coordinate with owners and managers. Prior restoration experience and a valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in water, fire, smoke, or mold restoration.
• IICRC certification is a plus but not required.
• Ability to operate restoration equipment and perform physical tasks.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform water, fire, smoke, and mold restoration for residential and commercial properties.
• Document damage findings with photos and written reports.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, moisture meters).
• Demolition and debris removal of damaged materials.
• Apply antimicrobial treatments and mold remediation procedures.
• Communicate with owners, adjusters, and project managers throughout the process.
• Maintain, clean, and organize equipment, vehicles, and job sites.

Responsibilities:

• Perform water, fire, smoke, and mold damage restoration services for residential and commercial properties
• Conduct initial damage assessments and document findings with photos and written reports
• Set up and monitor drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters
• Perform demolition and debris removal of damaged materials such as drywall, flooring, and insulation
• Apply antimicrobial treatments and perform mold remediation procedures
• Communicate clearly with property owners, adjusters, and project managers throughout the restoration process
• Maintain, clean, and organize equipment, vehicles, and job site areas

Requirements:

• Prior experience in restoration, construction, or a related trade preferred
• IICRC certification (WRT, ASD, or similar) is a plus but not required
• Ability to operate restoration equipment and perform physically demanding tasks
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude
• Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call and emergency response shifts
