Job summary

POOLCORP is offering a Management in Training - Operations (MIT) program housed in a distribution warehouse. It provides six months of guided training to prepare for future Operations Supervisor or Manager roles across the country.

Participants will learn about swimming pool supply, irrigation, and landscape distribution while rotating through Operations, Purchasing, and other warehouse functions. Training is on-site with company support for relocation as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain, Management, Operations or related field with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Leadership or problem-solving experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Willingness to relocate during/after the program (company-paid).
• Ability to travel up to 25% and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Desire to develop into Operations Supervisor/Manager.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training in Operations, Management, and Purchasing within the distribution center.
• Observe experienced employees to learn methods, procedures, and performance standards.
• Shadow contractors, service/maintenance, and retail customers to learn the business.
• Attend classroom training sessions at EDGEucation Center in Plano, TX (operations, leadership, etc.).
• Present a comprehensive completion project to senior management after 6 months.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
