Evans & Dixon, LLC is seeking a Missouri Workers' Compensation Associate for our St. Louis office. The ideal candidate has 1–4+ years of experience and strong litigation and administrative skills, with a desire to mentor and grow in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with experienced Workers' Compensation Attorneys, conduct legal research, interact with clients, and participate in depositions, mediations, and court appearances as you advance in your legal career.

Qualifications

• Requires 1–4+ years of legal experience.
• Must have working knowledge of administrative laws and procedures.
• Strong analytical, communication and people skills.
• Capable of handling large caseloads and juggling multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with corporate professionals.
• Commitment to excellent performance.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced attorneys, paralegals, and assistants as a team.
• Perform legal research and stay current with developments in workers' compensation law.
• Interact with clients daily and build professional connections.
• Handle depositions, mediations, conferences, and court appearances as you grow.
• Draft pleadings, findings of fact, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
