Job summary

Phoenix Rescue Mission is hiring for a warehouse/driver role in Phoenix, AZ. You will coordinate daily warehouse flow, receive and distribute donations, and operate vehicles for pickups and deliveries while delivering outstanding donor service.

You will work with volunteers and clients, promoting safety, organization, and Christ-centered service in a demanding outdoor environment under Arizona weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of warehouse, logistics, or related operational experience preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience operating a box truck or similar commercial vehicle required.
• Experience leading or directing volunteers preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily flow of warehouse operations, ensuring donations are received, processed, organized, and distributed efficiently.
• Provide day-to-day direction, training, and encouragement to Work Therapy clients and volunteers while promoting safety and productivity.
• Safely operate Mission vehicles to complete donation pick-ups and deliveries with excellent customer service.
• Maintain warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, vehicle inspections, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with Mission departments and partners to support distribution needs and timely requests.
• Model Christ-like hospitality and stewardship in daily interactions and ministry activities.
