Job summary

Phoenix Rescue Mission is seeking a warehouse operations role to coordinate donation intake, processing, and distribution in a hands-on environment in Phoenix, AZ. The position supports Work Therapy clients and volunteers while maintaining safety and accuracy in daily logistics.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of warehouse experience, ability to operate a box truck, and a valid driver’s license. The role involves outdoor work in Arizona weather and advancing the Mission’s faith-based

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse/logistics experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating a box truck or similar vehicle.
• Experience leading, training, or directing volunteers preferred.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred, or ability to obtain certification.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and able to become Mission driver.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily flow of warehouse operations, ensuring donations are received, processed, organized, and distributed efficiently.
• Provide day-to-day direction, training, and encouragement to Work Therapy clients and volunteers while promoting safety and productivity.
• Safely operate Mission vehicles to pickup and deliver donations, delivering exceptional customer service to donors and partners.
• Maintain warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, vehicle inspections, and safety standards for stewardship of resources.
• Collaborate with Mission departments and community partners to support distribution needs and timely fulfillment of requests.
• Model hospitality and stewardship by serving donors, volunteers, and clients with compassion and advancing the Mission's faith-based work.
