Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks a skilled MTC Engineer to create and sustain immersive training experiences for NASA ISS payload operations. You will manage the lab, develop hardware, and build Unity3D XR training models while collaborating with PMOD teams to deliver training solutions.

Responsibilities include maintaining training infrastructure, teaching classes, and presenting facility capabilities to visitors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in a related field and a minimum of 2 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in training, coordination, science, or engineering is a plus.
• Experience with 3D modeling, software development, and hardware development tools such as Blender, CAD, Unity3D, Articulate, or comparable applications.

Responsibilities

• Lab Management: maintain the physical training facility and inventory for lab equipment and supplies.
• Hardware Development: modify CAD files for additive manufacturing and build rack-hardware mock-ups.
• Software and XR Development: use Unity3D and C# to develop XR training applications.
