Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks a Mission Training Complex (MTC) Engineer to create and sustain immersive training experiences for NASA ISS payload operations. Responsibilities span lab management, hardware and software development, 3D modeling, and XR-enabled training, coordinating with PMOD to deliver both physical and virtual training environments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years’ experience, strong leadership and communication, and the ability to teach and lead

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field with minimum 2 years' experience; or an equivalent combination.
US Citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain government security clearance.
Experience with 3D modeling, software development, and hardware development tools.
Strong communication, leadership and customer-service skills; ability to teach and present information.

Responsibilities

Lab Management: maintain facility, inventory, and training infrastructure.
Hardware Development: modify CAD files, develop rack-hardware mock-ups, and support manufacturing.
Software and XR Development: build Unity applications, update legacy models, and code in C#.
3D Modeling and Additive Manufacturing: create and texture 3D models for Unity-based tools; prepare CAD for 3D printing.
Customer, Training, and Technical Support: gather requirements, troubleshoot, teach classes, and lead tours.
