Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, seeks an MTC Engineer to design, sustain, and deliver immersive training for ISS payload operations. The role blends lab management, hardware development, 3D modeling, software engineering, and XR technologies.

You will collaborate with PMOD across disciplines, manage training infrastructure, develop mock-ups, and teach classes while leading tours of the MTC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with minimum 2 years’ experience; or equivalent combination.
• Applied experience using 3D modeling, software-development, and hardware-development tools such as Blender, CAD, Unity3D, Articulate, or comparable applications.
• US Citizenship with ability to attain/maintain government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lab Management: maintain the training facility, inventory, and lab infrastructure.
• Hardware Development: modify CAD files and develop payload hardware; create rack hardware mock-ups.
• Software and XR Development: develop Unity applications, update GRT models, and program in C#.
• 3D Modeling and Additive Manufacturing: create, unwrap, texture, and print CAD models for real-time training.
• Customer, Training, and Technical Support: gather requirements, troubleshoot, teach classes, and tour the MTC.
