You will partner with the Software Chief Engineer to set direction and drive program commitments. Responsibilities include budgeting, staffing, mentoring, coordinating across programs in an Agile environment, and ensuring quality through reviews and

Formación

• BS degree in CS/CE/EE or related field.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience in embedded/ robotics.
• 4+ years in a management or tech lead role leading 15+ engineers.
• Experience delivering flight‑critical or mission‑critical software.
• Proficient with modern dev tools and Linux environments.

Responsabilidades

• Manage large multi-site software team, including budget, staffing, mentorship.
• Drive hiring and onboarding to scale team.
• Shape software roadmap with Software Chief Engineer.
• Coordinate projects across programs.
• Work in an Agile environment to plan scope, scheduling, and resources.
• Ensure software quality via design reviews, testing, and code review practices.
• Promote reuse of software across programs to reduce sustainment burden.
• Align software with system requirements and milestones.
• Interact with senior management.
• Other duties as assigned.
