Job summary

ASCEND Aerospace & Technology, LLC is seeking a Mission Systems Scheduler to manage and optimize schedules for MCC and MTC at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. The role involves translating mission milestones into resource-backed schedules, coordinating facilities, interfaces, and console allocation to ensure timely support for missions and training.

The successful candidate will maintain weekly schedules, lead scheduling meetings, and establish procedures to keep planning consistent

Qualifications

• Must have HS Diploma (or GED) with 5 years of general experience

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains weekly facility schedules for the MCC, TS and SVMF facilities.
• Coordinates which facilities resources and external interfaces required to support mission requirements.
• Support/conduct facility scheduling related meetings.
• Present MCC schedules at the Daily Operations Meeting (DOM)
• Manage MCC Work Plan requests into mission and training schedules
• Provide facility user scheduling assistance and problem resolution.
• Develop and maintain scheduling procedures.
• Provide data entry support of facility projection and utilization data.
• Provide utilization data and generate reports/metrics.
• Generate and deliver schedules to appropriate disciplines.
• Support other related duties as required.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with FOD FOX Integrators to support program needs
