Job summary

Synectic Solutions, Inc. seeks a Journeyman Systems Engineer to support the H-60 Multi-Mission Helicopters Program Office at Patuxent River NAS, MD.

You will serve as the Deputy for the Engineering Lead, providing systems engineering support to the Mission Systems IPT for MH-60R/S sensor systems through the acquisition lifecycle. Responsibilities include system integration, reviews of technical analyses, ECPs, and SETs, and ensuring airworthiness and risk management.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret Clearance.
Technical or Scientific BS/BA from an accredited college or university.
7+ years of recent, relevant experience in a related labor category.
Experience in acoustics or sensor systems is preferred.
Experience with DoD/Naval Aviation environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

Apply systems engineering knowledge to system integration, ECPs, and risk management.
Review and prepare engineering analyses, reports, and technical documentation.
Review and process engineering change proposals (ECPs).
Lead SETR events and prepare documentation for SE reviews.
Support airworthiness actions, EDRA P development, and flight clearance processes.
Develop SOWs and CDRLs; support cross-functional collaboration.
Identify and solve complex acoustics and sensor system issues.
Gather requirements from stakeholders to align with project objectives.
Summarize data and findings for technical reports and stakeholder briefings.
Prepare gap analyses, plans, and status reports.
