AeroVironment, Inc. in the United States is seeking a data scientist to build and assess analytic models tailored to mission-specific needs, applying data science techniques to geospatial, time-series, and NLP data.

You will organize, clean, and curate large datasets, develop reproducible workflows, and communicate conclusions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with an emphasis on data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, CS, Engineering).
• 4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or related analytical role.
• Experience with geospatial/GIS, time-series analysis, NLP, and LLM usage (not training).
• Programming in Python, Bash, SQL; familiarity with Pandas, Geopandas, NumPy, SciPy, Plotly and Dash.
• Experience with Jupyter Notebook/Lab, ETL, data cleaning, data management, analytics and visualization.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
