Job summary

Freedom Technology Solutions Group, LLC is seeking a Data Scientist to support mission-critical intelligence analysis and geospatial data exploitation. You will develop analytical models, statistical methodologies, and data-driven solutions that transform large, complex datasets into actionable intelligence.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance eligible for CI Poly.
• Experience collaborating with customers or stakeholders in technical or mission environments.
• Strong communication and coordination across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience gathering and documenting requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic setting.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices.
• Experience using GitLab or similar tools for collaboration and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Develop statistical and analytical models for structured and unstructured datasets.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and identify meaningful patterns and anomalies.
• Design feature engineering strategies for AI/ML models.
• Analyze imagery metadata, geospatial data, and operational datasets.
• Evaluate model accuracy and continuously improve performance.
• Collaborate with software engineers to operationalize analytical capabilities.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings.
• Document methodologies and present technical results to mission stakeholders.
• Support computer vision, NLP, and geospatial AI initiatives.
• Gather, document, and refine customer requirements, including data mapping and integration needs.
• Assist in implementing integration solutions with the development team.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
• Ensure activities align with processes, standards, and mission objectives.
• Contribute to documentation of processes, integration patterns, and lessons learned.
