DEFTEC Corporation is seeking a skilled security professional to advise and coordinate security operations for NATO-related missions and events. The role requires risk analysis, site surveys, OSINT gathering, and delivering briefings tailored to senior leadership and mission planners.

The Support to the ACT Mission Security Coordinator provides security risk analysis and coordination in support of HQ SACT personnel travel, missions, and events, analyzing travel database (FINS) reports to identify high-risk destinations and collecting security information from open-source intelligence, classified reports, and local advisories to assess threats in advance of travel. This position delivers comprehensive security briefings tailored to individual missions and events, develops security plans and risk mitigation strategies for high-risk events in compliance with NATO security policies, and conducts risk assessments, security audits, and site surveys to identify vulnerabilities at planned venues. Responsibilities include evaluating attendee lists for counterintelligence risks, preparing security briefs for senior leadership approval, and providing on-site security support at Delegate Assistance Centers, registration desks, and check-in points during events. The role coordinates security efforts for Diamond Events and external missions with local authorities, law enforcement, and intelligence agencies, manages security logistics and emergency response protocols, and prepares after-action reports and lessons-learned products to improve future planning. This position also involves briefing internal NATO stakeholders at all levels, including FP officers and NATO Command leadership, on security requirements and risk management, while ensuring NATO documentation standards are met and security policies remain harmonized with local and international partners.
