Job summary

Leidos is seeking Mission Ready Reserve MFLCs in New Mexico to provide counseling and support to Service Members and adult family members. Roles are assignment-ready, focusing on relationships, stress management, parenting, and unit liaison, with assignments at military installations or embedded with units.

Minimum requirements include a master’s degree in Behavioral Health, licensure (LCSW/MFT/LPCC/Psychologist) in the U.S., U.S. citizenship, and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Behavioral Health Professions (MS/MSW/MA/PhD) or higher.
• Licensed to practice at independent level in a U.S. state (LCSW, MFT, LPCC, Psychologist).
• U.S. citizenship required for employment.
• Ability to pass background checks and Public Trust/NACI/CNACI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Face-to-face counseling to service members and families (individual, couples, family, children).
• Recommend referrals and handoffs based on differential clinical skills.
• Offer presentations on social skills development and emotional learning.
• Build rapport by attending installation and community events.
• Support families through military transitions and relocations.
