Job summary

Leidos seeks licensed mental health professionals to serve as Mission Ready Reserve MFLCs on a flexible PRN basis across military installations and communities. MFLCs provide counseling with an emphasis on preventative, solution-focused approaches for adults and/or youth, without insurance requirements or treatment plans.

Minimum credentials include a master’s degree in behavioral health and state licensure, US citizenship, and the ability to pass a background check for Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Behavioral Health Professions (MS/MSW/MA/PhD) required.
• Licensure to practice (LCSW, MFT, LPCC, Psychologist) is required in state or territory.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must be able to pass a basic background check and obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face counseling to Service Members and families (individual, couples, family, and children).
• Recommends referrals and handoffs based on differential clinical assessment to military and community resources.
• Offer presentations to address social skills development and social-emotional learning.
• Build rapport with Service Members, spouses, and children at installations and community events.
• Support families and children with deployment, relocations, and related challenges.
