Job summary

Leidos seeks Mission Ready Reserve MFLCs to provide counseling to military personnel and families with minimal administrative burden. You will operate in diverse environments on DoD installations and community settings, delivering direct services while leveraging intuitive reporting tools.

Eligible candidates hold a master's or higher in behavioral health and a valid state license (LCSW, MFT, LPCC, psychologist), are U.S. citizens, and can pass required background checks.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Behavioral Health Professions (MS/MSW/MA/PhD).
• Must hold a valid independent license in the mental health field (LCSW, MFT, LPCC, Psychologist).
• U.S. citizen; able to pass background checks (NACI/CNACI).

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face counseling to military service members and families (individual, couples, family, and children).
• Recommend referrals and handoffs based on clinical skills to military and community resources.
• Offer presentations on social skills development and social-emotional learning for children.
• Build rapport with service members, spouses, and children at installations and community events.
• Assist families and children with military-specific transitions and deployments.
