Job summary

Akahi Associates/Kako'o Services, LLC seeks an Athletic Trainer to support Holistic Health and Fitness for Airmen at Travis Air Force Base. The role applies evidence-based Human Performance programs to improve readiness, reduce injuries, and aid rehabilitation.

Requirements: a Bachelor's degree in athletic training, 5+ years of experience, ability to be transported in government vehicles, and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training from an accredited program.
• Minimum of five (5) years of athletic training experience.
• Ability to be transported in Government-provided ground vehicles.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain required security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Human Performance evaluations and support mission-specific programming.
• Support injury reduction and rehabilitation efforts.
• Coordinate with squadron UFPMs and embed with squadrons as required.
• Lead or participate in multiple weekly training sessions and clinics.
• Document assessments, training sessions, and outcomes as required.
