Job summary

LMR Technical Group seeks a Certified Athletic Trainer to support the Army’s Holistic Health and Fitness program for Soldiers. You will deliver prevention, clinical care, rehabilitation, and performance optimization in a joint health setting.

Work on-site at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson AK, collaborating with a interdisciplinary team to maximize Soldier readiness and health across H2F domains. Qualified ATCs with military healthcare experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher from CAATE-accredited program.
BOC certification as Athletic Trainer (ATC) with active credentials.
Unrestricted professional license/registration in applicable state/territory.
Maintain required credentials and NPI for practice.
Two years of relevant AT experience with military or similar populations.

Responsibilities

Deliver injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and return-to-duty services.
Collaborate with Physical Therapists, S&C Coaches, RDNs, and other clinicians.
Provide care for acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
Design rehab and prevention programs tailored to military demands.
Educate Soldiers and leaders on movement quality and recovery.
Utilize documentation systems to monitor outcomes and support program improvement.
Participate in PT, field exercises, and multidisciplinary meetings.
Promote readiness and long-term Soldier health.
