Job summary

Goldbelt Apex, part of Goldbelt, Inc., seeks an Athletic Trainer to support Airmen in the Contingency Response Wing, focusing on holistic health, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and readiness through evidence-based training tailored to contingency operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, at least five years of athletic training experience, US citizenship, and a SECRET clearance. Some CONUS travel may be required in support of deployments and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university in sport psychology or related field.
• Minimum five years of athletic training experience.
• U.S. citizenship and SECRET clearance prior to start.
• Travel: CONUS travel may be required for meetings, conferences, training, and off-site training support.

Responsibilities

• Improve Airmen’s mission-ready physical and mental performance and reduce preventable injuries.
• Enhance cognitive resilience, decision-making under stress, and fatigue management.
• Provide HP programs tailored to CRW mission sets including high-tempo deployments.
• Provide HP guidance to Airmen before deployments to maintain performance.
• Integrate holistic evaluation for CRW Airmen and facilitate strength, conditioning, and mindfulness coaching.
