Job summary

Sphinx Defense is seeking a Product Manager for Mission Planning Operations/Ground Terminal Management to lead the Ops & Terminals product across multiple Agile teams. You will translate operator needs into prioritized software features and guide product direction for satellite command, telemetry, and ground terminal workflows.

Location options include Colorado, Virginia, or California with travel; a Secret clearance is required to obtain TS/SCI access.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience leading software product teams.
Experience with satellite command and control, telemetry, ground systems, RF terminals, or related space mission operations.
Experience leading product execution across multiple Agile software development teams or complex development efforts.
Ability to translate operator workflows into software capabilities.
Experience working with government or highly technical end users.

Responsibilities

Own feature priorities across Program Increments and translate them into sprint-level stories.
Represent operator needs across development lifecycles and coordinate with IPTs.
Translate high-level objectives into prioritized software features for delivery.
Collaborate with engineering leadership to balance dependencies and tradeoffs.
Maintain and communicate the product backlog and roadmap across teams.
Support program boards, demonstrations, and technical documentation.
