Job summary

Sphinx Defense, Inc. is seeking a Product Manager – Mission Planning Operations/Ground Terminal Management to guide the next generation of mission planning, satellite command and control, and ground terminal software for U.S. Government space programs.

You will lead multiple Agile teams, advocate for operator needs, translate requirements into prioritized features, and work with engineering and program leadership to manage scope, risks, and tradeoffs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience leading software product development teams.
• Experience with satellite command and control, telemetry, or ground systems.
• Experience leading product execution across multiple Agile teams.
• Ability to translate operator needs into software features.
• Experience with government or mission-focused end users.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for operator needs and balance them with product strategy.
• Own feature priorities across Program Increments and decompose into stories.
• Translate objectives into prioritized software requirements.
• Manage cross-team dependencies and communicate decisions to stakeholders.
• Support demonstrations and documentation of product capabilities.
