Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Mission Manager for International Systems (Starshield) in Hawthorne, CA. You will lead customer interactions, oversee integrations of hardware, software, and networks, and coordinate with engineering, security, and sales teams to ensure mission success for foreign government and military customers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, 5+ years in aerospace/defense, and strong project management or systems engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline required.
• 5+ years aerospace or defense industry experience.
• 5+ years of technical project management and/or systems engineering experience.
• Experience with satellite communications networks and IP networks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as customer interface at meetings, tests, and reviews to develop integration plans and ensure customer success.
• Ensure contract deliverables are completed on-time and per customer expectations.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders to drive prototype development and end-to-end mission success.
• Support all program phases from pre-sales to testing, troubleshooting, and steady-state operations.
