Job summary

California Hospital Medical Center seeks a Director of Mission Integration to lead and set strategy for embedding the mission, values, and ethics across the hospital. You will promote a culture grounded in the Dignity Health mission, and design educational programs for staff, volunteers, and the community.

The role involves preparing accountability reports for senior leadership and the board, developing strategic plans, and ensuring alignment with the hospital's identity and values.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in healthcare management, theology, spirituality, behavioral science or related fields.
• Minimum of three (3) years of progressive responsibility in a related field (e.g., Spiritual Care, Healthcare, etc.).
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory/management experience required within the field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and set strategy for mission integration to align mission, vision, values, heritage, ethics, and identity across the hospital.
• Promote a values-based culture and design educational programming for staff, volunteers, and community about the Dignity Health mission and values.
• Prepare regular accountability reports for senior leadership and board on organizational identity, spirituality and culture, ethical principles, and community health and the common good.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for mission integration and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
